DescriptionShell-shaped salt cellar, one of pair, soft-paste porcelain. Each of the pair of salt cellars in the shape of a scallop shell, resting on a jumbled bed of small shells and coral fragments. And each one painted in enamels with a tight bouquet of garden flowers surrounded by three or four leaf sprays; the front edges and the large shells gilt.MarkingsOn the one with the blue tulip an impressed To.
