The heavy bowl cut with hollow diamonds and on a facet cut foot, the slightly domed lid and finial with flat cutting.Label TextColored cut glass from the mid-18th century is rare. This cut glass bowl was likely for use on the dessert table. Similarly shaped objects are illustrated on mid-18th century trade cards for British cut glass dealers.
