DescriptionOval hinged patch box with a lid which fits over the bottom and an external hinge set with a stop. Lid has a slight thumbnail projection at the front.
InscribedBoth the lid and bottom are neatly scratched with a "2" on the inside.
MarkingsBoth the lid and the bottom are struck with “I • E” incuse within a rectangle.
