DescriptionChinese porcelain teacup and saucer both of lobed or petal shape comprised of four lobes. The exterior of the cup and the interior of the saucer are decorated with European-style flowers and insects in opaque enamels similar in style to those done at the Meissen factory. The shape of the cup is related to a European prototype as well. The interior rim of the cup and saucer is decorated with a chain link border often found on armorial porcelain dating between 1740 and 1780.ca. 1750
